American Express - Hawks Island

Football fans in Seattle love to get together before Seahawks games to rally around their home team. However, with CenturyLink Field being positioned in an industrial area surrounded by water and shipyards, it is difficult for Seahawks fans to find a communal space.   To solve this consumer pain point, we transformed a 1,200 sq. ft. barge into a pregame paradise overlooking Puget Sound.

Hawks Island was a one-of-a-kind experience prior to the game, featuring amazing food and beverages from some of Seattle’s favorite local eateries, tailgate themed games, a giant TV showing all the NFL action, and even a few celebrity guests, including: Seahawks legends Shaun Alexander, Walter Jones, & Sydney Rice.  Additional programming for the weekend included a small business merchant panel with Richard Sherman, and Small Business Surprise & Delights with Shaun Alexander.

American Express - 2018 NBA All Star Weekend

As an official sponsor partner of the NBA, American Express looked to create an immersive experience near the Staples Center that connected resonated with basketball and non-basketball fans to the brand, and basketball culture in a meaningful way; one that highlighted Amex’s role as the official Card of the NBA, as purveyor of unique experiences and premium access, while giving visitors the glitz and glam of the weekend in an eminently shareable way.


Los Angeles is a city of art, music, fashion, and technology.  During NBA All-Star 2018, those elements were united by a love of basketball. We transformed a downtown Los Angeles warehouse into The American Express Experience at All-Star 2018— part interactive hoops museum, part Instagram paradise.

American Express & Hilton - Co-branded Card Relaunch

To celebrate the new portfolio of credit cards from American Express and Hilton, we transformed the Conrad New York into a unique playground for high value Card Members, Media, Influencers, and brand executives on January 30, 2018 that brought to life physical manifestation of the benefits for the new co-branded AMEX/Hilton Honors credit card. This immersive launch experience highlighted Card Member passion points and offered moments for discovery, endless opportunities to fuel Instagram feeds, and interaction. The passion points were portrayed through a travel area featuring neon installations inspired by Miami, London, and San Francisco; a neon-lit basketball court that invited guests to shoot hoops with members of the Brooklyn Nets Team Hype; a concert by Charlie Puth and the Chainsmokers; and an interactive food wall with doors that revealed mystery bites related to Hilton properties as well as food carts and a signature piña colada, which was a homage to the cocktail's origins at the Caribe Hilton in Puerto Rico.

American Express - Dinner on the 50

For Seahawks fans, the football season starts before the football season even starts, and fans cannot get enough access to the team they love.  We knew that CenturyLink Field is their spiritual home, where the famous #12 jersey was retired in 1984 to honor them.

Leveraging those insights, we created the ultimate pre-season event for fans, an exclusive dinner with current players on the 50-yard line of CenturyLink Field for American Express Card Members.  This event was used increase awareness for Card Member benefits with the team, showing the 12s that the best way to get closer to their team is through Membership.

American Express - Jersey Assurance

Partnering with the NBA and Fanatics (the USA’s largest jersey retailer), we worked with American Express to create a way to turn sports disloyalty into brand loyalty with “American Express Jersey Assurance” -- the first-ever protection plan for NBA jerseys.  Now, when their favorite player switches teams, fans can exchange their jerseys for free, for up to a year; turning disappointed fans into loyal Card Members.


Jersey Assurance launched on TV, in print, in social, and during a live game broadcast, resulting in an increase in likelihood to recommend Amex, an increase in NBA fans’ opinion of Amex, a boost in total awareness of Jersey Assurance, +270MM media impressions, and +25MM earned social impressions.

Chase - Rangerstown Watch Party at Bryant Park

To celebrate the New York Rangers first Stanley Cup Final appearance in 20 years, we worked with Chase to give all of New York City a chance to cheer on the Blueshirts as we hosted a viewing party at Manhattan’s Bryant Park.  Thousands of fans showed up to partake in the festivities which outside of the viewing experience also included Rangers giveaways, photo opportunities, ice skating, and more.

Delta Airlines - Rangers Fan Flight

In conjunction with the New York Rangers & Delta Airlines, we chartered the first ever commercial flight from JFK to Newark as a stunt to celebrate the playoff matchup between the Rangers & NJ Devils.   The sky was the limit for the Rangers Fan Flight, which gave fans the opportunity to arrive in style to the playoff game by being chauffeured in a Delta plane.  In addition to a free ride, fans had the opportunity to mingle with Rangers legends Rod Gilbert and Ron Duguay, received free swag, and more.
